It's always amazed me how one day can reshape your life, for me that day was an outing with my nature photography class to the Hendrie Valley. After lunch our excursion to the docks in the area had to be cancelled because they were under construction. So, we had to make new plans. The group was given the option to visit another park or go see waterfalls along the escarpment. I opted for the waterfalls and it's a decision that changed my life. Since that day I've chased the beauty and power of nature, always trying to get a great shot that shows just how incredible our world is.
My nature photography tries to encompass everything, from the massive waterfalls surrounding the great lakes to the drops of rain on flowers after a storm. On this site I've broken them down into three main categories: landscapes, portraits, and macro. Under landscapes you'll find a collection of roaring waterfalls, colourful tree lines, beautiful sunsets and open fields (and maybe just a few others). Portraits include vibrant flowers and plants and some interesting animals. Macro has all sorts of insects, spiders, butterflies and some other creepy crawlies but, also some great close-ups of flowers, dew drops and more. Hopefully I have something that catches your interest!
